Complementary Role – We look to serve the local partners and communities by complementing the Haitian governments’ decentralization plan. We aim to support local programs looking to streamline the delivery of services. We want to know how we can make programs more efficient and sustainable by reinforcing the current work. Two organizations worthy of coalition is the YMCA d’Haiti and the Rotary International (Rotary Clubs in Haiti).

YMCA d'Haiti develops children, youth, and adults through education and character building programs so they can become leaders to strengthen families and communities. The YMCA d’Haiti presently has six community centers and projecting to build several more in the coming years. YMCA d’Haiti attends to the long-standing challenges of poverty, lack of education, and marginalization that face most Haitians and in particular their youth. YMCA d’Haiti’s vision is to partner with like minded organizations for resources to ensure quality in youth education and academic results; provide literacy and job skill development; and create community impact. The programs of the YMCA d’Haiti directly contributes to the building of a civil society and the strengthening of community involvement by providing a safe place for youth and families to meet and participate as volunteers in the planning and implementing of community-based programs and activities for others.

Operation Grace For Haiti will provide central planning and information for Haitian Diaspora-driven macro level development campaigns. This program will be used to consolidate Diaspora efforts and resources for consistent and impactful advancement as a national initiative focusing on coordinating the Haitian Diaspora to establish structural advancements in the areas of Healthcare, Education, Agribusiness, and Infrastructure Development.
